Agios Germanos has a wonderful
forest, which is ideal for walks, mountain climbing (path E6), cycling,
hiking, where if you are lucky you might see
wild horses
or the rare brown bear.

In summer you can enjoy swimming
in the lake or canoeing and fishing, In winter you can ski in the
Vigla-Pissoderio (27km/17miles) ski resort, where the two newly organized
chalets offer you just about everything.

You can also see
remarkable Byzantine monuments such as the church of Agios Germanos (11th
Century) and the monastic cells of Psarradon with the wonderful paintings on
the rocks, the Basilica of
Agios Achillios
(10th century) or observe the birds or the rare flora and
